Last Tuesday RT628 sent a team over for the annual 3 Bricks Challenge.
Unfortunately it wasnt welly throwing, but Archery instead. We
officially came last with many thanks to Foxy for his galliant efforts
in trying to prevent us from winning. For his efforts he won a bottle of
wine !!!!!!!!!
Roo, on the other hand, thought we had to win it, and got the highest
individual score. For his galliant efforts he won ..... nothing
!!!!!!!!!! He did managed to get some spare ribs on the way home though
from the Chinese (calm down Dave) Chip Shop which Frank B had
recommended. Mrs Roo was very pleased no doubt.
By some quirk of fate, the scores were reversed, and so we did win the
trophy which I was very pleased to accept (given Duncan O and next
year's sports officer will have to arrange the tournament :-) ).
