Round Table raises £1,500 on Peel Tower Zip Slide |

A group of 12 Rossendale Round Tablers and their families leapt off Peel Tower to raise money for Anthony Nolan Bone Marrow Trust and the Mikroshoni School & Orphanage Appeal in Kenya. The group raised a staggering £1,500 with the youngest zipper 13 and the oldest zipper 32 years her senior. The Anthony Nolan Trust is well known within the valley and was created with the national support of Round Table. Mikroshoni is a small village in Kenya not too far away from Nairobi and one third of the money is going to help support the development of the school there and a newly opened orphanage.
